TESTIMONIALS

WHAT CAN I SAY?
I'M THRILLED! I'M GRATEFUL AND OVERJOYED BEYOND BELIEF!!!

I can say that and more....
John Rangel is a true expert in the Farrier field...and it doesn't stop there.
His calm, kind, caring way with our horses left me feeling very happy,
relieved and grateful for his work.
Our Paint Angel now "Flies without Wings"!
It almost feels like a miracle to me!
For nearly two years our dear Angel had struggled with laminitis....
to the point of our considering putting her down to end her pain, misery...
but we just couldn't...she was trying so hard...
We adjusted her diet, tried boots, tried everything....
Before John, after Angel's trims, she would often lie in her stall or struggle to walk.
It was killing me to watch. I felt helpless.
We liked our former farrier and the rest of our horses were "fine"...
but Angel wasn't...and that wasn't right.
Progress just wasn't being made with Angel...
Fall was closing in and then Winter....hard footing....something had to be done.
Then I heard about John....
A dear, trusted friend of mine commented on how,
"He gave her horses the best trim they've ever had"
And, she really liked his way. SO....I gave him a call....
The rest is history.
John took his time, measured the horses hooves,
was gentle, kind and did beautiful work with each horse...
Taking time to show me various things about each individual horse.
When it came to Angel's trim, I was nervous.
John evaluated her hooves, trimmed them and for the first time in forever,
she was FINE after her trim.
He mentioned he'd like to see her more often than the others
until she was on her way.
Well, three weeks later he came out to do his thing....
Angel was TROTTING that day! I could NOT believe it!
I actually called my husband to tell him! I was so overjoyed!!!
Angel now runs/walks/trots...
John's great skill and expert way is very apparent.
John Rangel has an exceptional gift, there's no doubt in my mind.
We're so very grateful to John for his incredible farrier skills.
And, his kind, compassionate, professional way.
I can't say enough good about him and I HIGHLY recommend him!!
He has changed our Angel's life and ours...all for the better.

Kindly,
Kathy Zachman Mathiasen

I AM WRITING YOU TO TELL YOU HOW MUCH OF A GREAT FARRIER JOHN IS ...
I am so glad I met him.
I've got to tell you I haven't known John for very long.
My other farrier stopped answering my calls and I was really getting scared because no other farrier
wanted to come out and do my horse and my neighbors. Then I saw John's ad on craigslist and I thought well
this is my last chance, so I e-mailed him and he said he would come out and he did. He answered every one
of my questions
and if he didn't know he told me he would look it up and get back to me which he did.
He is an awesome farrier and my horse just loves him to. I have been recently talking to John about getting
a pony that has foundered and he told me not to get scared because of the word and he said not to exclude that
pony just because he has foundered. that it is very correctable to where he could be comfortable. I am not very
familiar with foundering and laminitis and John told me a lot about it. and not to be scared just how it sounds.
I am going to look at the pony today and if I do decide to get him it would be because Johns kind words
and he is very helpful to make me understand. I will always trust my horses with John. He is a great Farrier
and there is just so much more to say but it would take yrs and I have only known him for about 4-5 months.

Thanks,
Shannon Valley

HELLO, MY NAME IS LINDA AND I HAVE A GREAT HORSE, HIS NAME IS SAMMY...
After I got him he started to limp and I had the vet out to find out why.
She said probably navicular, but with out radials she could not say for sure.
I am retired and on a fixed income. I panicked.
I met John through my friend next door. He came out and looked at Sammy and trimmed him and said,
"don't be to sure that's what it is". He came out even on his own time, because he knew I didn't have much money. He even wanted to take him home and work on him.
This man has the heart and the know how to not only heal the horse but also to heal this old heart that was broken. Before John I was ready to give up on Sammy, not any more.
It turns out that Sammy has a little arthritis in his coffin joint. With joint support, a little bute, and Johns trims we can still go on our rides. I credit John with all his hard work, not just on my Sammy but on me as well. Your not going to find a better farrier or a more caring person then John.
Thanks for your time,
Linda
